Partner and Managing Director

Mr. Lykos is a Partner and Managing Director for the Fund Management team. Mr. Lykos has over 30 years of experience focusing on all aspects of the reorganization and resolution processes in the financial services industry. He is primarily involved in evaluating investment strategy for the private equity team and serves as a member of the Investment Committee for Commerce Street Financial Partners, LP.

Previously, Mr. Lykos was a Managing Director at Rauscher, Pierce Refsnes where he was responsible for developing and implementing resolution strategies for failed or failing financial institutions. He also was the Executive Director of FSLIC (The Southwest Plan) participating in its creation. Prior to being named Executive Director, he was Counsel to the Senate Banking Committee and Energy & Commerce Committee. He began his legal career as an attorney in the Enforcement Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission and as an Associate with Bracewell & Patterson.

Mr. Lykos has a B.A. in History and Economics from Harvard College where he graduated Cum Laude and he received a J.D. from The University of Texas, Austin. He is a member of the District of Columbia and Texas Bar Associations.
