John Z. Martinez

Vice President, Senior Analyst

Mr. Martinez is a Vice President and Senior Analyst for the Fund Management team. He is involved in valuation, research, and monitoring of securities for Commerce Street Income Partners, LP and Commerce Street Income Partners, II, monitoring over 1200 banks on a quarterly basis. He also prepares financial institution valuations for the Private Equity funds.

Mr. Martinez has eight years of securities industry experience on both the buy-side and sell-side of firms with a particular focus on financial services companies, including commercial banks, thrift institutions, insurance companies and real estate investment trusts.

Prior to joining Commerce Street, Mr. Martinez was with Cohen and Company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the Bank Trust Preferred Collateralized Debt Obligation (CDO) underwriting team. He was previously affiliated with Emerald Asset Management, a registered investment advisor located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Martinez is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College (Lancaster, Pennsylvania). He holds multiple securities licenses.
