Steve Parks is a Senior Vice President at Commerce Street Capital and is responsible for assisting community bank management teams in reaching their capital-raising goals. Since 2005, he has helped raise more than $125 million in equity for de novo and established banks. Previously, he worked in a similar position at SAMCO Capital Markets, Inc.
Prior to working with community banks, Mr. Parks spent 30 years in food distribution sales. He was most recently a regional sales representative at Performance Food Group, the third largest food distributor in the United States, and was based out of its Oakwood, Ga., office. He was responsible for managing 50 to 60 accounts per week within the hospitality industry and was active with new business development. Based on his high volume of sales, Mr. Parks was named “Rookie of the Year,” won performance trips and earned his membership in the President’s Club for all three years.
Mr. Parks holds FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses.
