G. Nolan Smith, CFA

Managing Director

Nolan Smith is a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Group of Commerce Street Capital, LLC. Previously, Mr. Smith was with SAMCO Capital Markets for three years as a Managing Director, specializing in corporate and municipal finance. Additionally, his duties encompass structuring alternative investment vehicles.

Mr. Smith has been in the investment business since 1987. He has extensive experience as a securities analyst, portfolio manager and derivative product specialist. He earned an MS in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was an officer in the U.S. Navy. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
