Thomas J. Donovan

Managing Director

In addition to his position as a Managing Director of Commerce Street Capital, LLC, Mr. Donovan is the Chief Marketing Officer for Commerce Street Lending Partners, LP, a commercial real estate mortgage fund. He also serves as Executive Vice President of CS Lending GP, LLC, and is on the Investment Committee. Through his many real estate relationships, he will also be involved in sourcing lending opportunities for the fund.

Mr. Donovan was previously with SAMCO Capital Markets, Inc. Prior to joining SAMCO, he was a partner with Clover Partners, LP, a Registered Investment Advisor headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Donovan has thirty-five (35) years of industry experience, having served in senior positions in the Private Client Group of Smith Barney and CS First Boston in Dallas, also as a Mortgage Product Specialist with CS First Boston; Central Financial Corp/Honolulu Mortgage Company; MBank Dallas Investments and Real Estate/Mortgage Banking Groups; and American Security Bank, Washington, DC, in the Investment Group.

Mr. Donovan has served as Past President of the Dallas Mortgage Bankers Association, the Dallas Services for Visually Impaired Children, the Ursuline Academy Board of Advisors and is a current member of John Paul II High School Advisory Council. Mr. Donovan received a BBA from the University of North Texas in 1970.
